News is national and real estate is local. In Dallas, the MLS area 17 – Oak Lawn – is comprised of the highest concentration of townhomes and condos in the Dallas area. The good news is the local real estate news is VERY good news. Year to date through the end of August, there have been 543 condos and townhomes sold representing a 5% increase over the same time last year. The average sales price is $320,215, a 2% increase in the average sales price, and pending sales increased by 3%.  Not everyone is getting what they want, but the fact of the matter is – there are people buying and selling in Dallas!
